Reginald Percival Robinson was born on 25 May 1889, the son of Robert Philip Robinson and his wife Catherine Charlotte. He worked for Union of London & Smiths Bank.
Early in the First World War Robinson left his job at the bank's London Regent Street branch to go on military service as a Rifleman in the London Regiment. He was killed in action in France on 12 March 1915. He was 25 years old and left a widow, Emily May, and a son, Reginald Augustus.

He was my grandmother's eldest brother. She also lost her youngest brother to the First World War. Gone but not forgotten.
